Ad-Hoc Testing

What is AD-HOC TESTING ?

Ad-hoc testing is a type of test performed without preparation and paperwork. This type of test is carried out before the project is formally tested. The bugs found in such tests are not easy to reproduce as these scenarios are not represented by test cases. The Ad-hoc test results depend on the testing skills of a tester.

Ad-hoc testing has three types

BUDDY TESTING

One person from the development team and one person from the testing team perform various tests to find bugs and stabilize the game simultaneously.

PAIR TESTING

A group of two people are included in this type of Ad-Hoc Testing. One plays and finds the bug and the other enters the bugs in the database.

MONKEY TESTING OR DESTRUCTIVE TESTING

These types of tests are performed by expert testers to break the game or find exploits.
